Boy, 17, found dead

ROXAS City — A 17-year-old boy was found dead in Brgy. Dacuton, Dumarao town.

Police said the boy, a resident of Brgy. Nagsulang in the town, had several stab wounds in the different parts of her body.

Bystanders found the boy at the back of a comfort room of the Dacuton Barangay Hall, authorities said.

Investigation disclosed that the boy went to the barangay hall’s comfort room hours before a benefit dance in the village.

He was observed to be under the influence of liquor, investigation said.

His friends were worried when he failed to return. They heard someone scream from the comfort room, and then found the boy’s lifeless body there.

The boy’s body will undergo a postmortem examination. Investigation on the case is ongoing.
A laborer was also found dead at a culvert in Brgy. Nagba, Cuartero.

Police identified the man as Hepti Salomeo, 55, of the said barangay.

Investigation disclosed that a certain Gelacio Socias, 76, of the same village, drowned Salomeo down.

The man was brought to the Galino Funeral Homes in Brgy. Poblacion Tacas, Cuartero.
