ROXAS City – Twenty-three pumps and engine sets were given to various multipurpose cooperatives (MPC) in Capiz.
The turnover ceremony was held at the Pag-ulikid Training Center-ESLA in Brgy. Lanot here.
The following recipients each received seven pumps and engine sets from the provincial government:
* Pagbunitan MPC in the municipality of Sigma
* San Miguel MPC in Dumalag
* Poblacion Sur MPC in Ivisan
* Salocon MPC in Panitan
* Agdahon MPC in Cuartero
* Solo MPC in Pontevedra
* Cabugao Este MPC in Panay
* Calitan MPC in Panay
* Pangabuan MPC in Jamindan
* Fe MPC in Jamindan; and
* Burias MPC, Manibad MPC, Tumalalud MPC and Bergante MPC in the municipality of Mambusao.
Meanwhile, cooperative beneficiaries that received nine pumps and engine sets each were:
* Milibi MPC in Roxas City
* Molentintans Association, Inc. in Jamindan
* Sublangon MPC in Pontevedra
* Pontevedra Fishers & Farmers Association
* Gibato MPC in Dumarao
* Astorga MPC in Dumarao; and
* Batiano Irrigation, Pinay Farmers, Bating and Bunga MPC in Mambusao.
