ROXAS City – The Capiz State University (CAPSU) received a check worth P5 million from the provincial government as imbursement for the tuition of all the Pag-ulikid scholars in Capiz.
Dr. Herminia Gomez, CAPSU vice president for academic affairs, received the check during a turnover ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion-ESLA in Brgy. Lanot here on January 3.
The P5 million served as full payment of the scholars’ tuition for the first semester of school year 2012 2013.
A total of P2,673,940 went to CAPSU-Dumarao; P1,304,545 to CAPSU-Sapian; CAPSU-Burias in Mambusao received P1, 015,220; and to CAPSU Pilar, P23,180.
The CAPSU administration expressed gratitude for the provincial government’s continued support to the students under the said program which promises to give them sufficient assistance until they graduate in college.
