INDAY Judy Roxas, mother of Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas, has done a lot of follow-ups and PRs with big government officials for the implementation of her long overdue projects in three prime towns of her province – Panay, Pontevedra and Pilar.
These are the construction of port facilities in various barangays of these towns with a total cost of P35 million, specifically with the following amounts: Panay – P17.6 million; Pontevedra – P12.5 million; and Pilar – P4.7 million.
Once operational, these port facilities will increase economic activities, tourism investments and add income to the province.
Thanks, Inday Judy.
By the way, once again, we appeal to contractors and concerned officials to moderate their greed.
The people are always suspicious that every time there are projects, a big part – that is from 15 to 30 percent – goes to the pockets of auditors, Department of Public Works and Highways engineers, politicians and other thieves.
